This customer wanted to improve the security of their front door. With the old set up if the front door was left unlocked, you could open it from inside or outside just by using the handle. They wanted it to operate more like a Yale lock, where you can only open it with a key from the outside.
The door locking system needed to change how the lock & handles operated together, so no one could just walk in. This meant the door handles needed to be changed from a lever/lever set up to a lever/pad.
To do this I changed the handles to make the set up compatible with the multi point lock. I also changed the door lock from a standard lock to a more secure British standard anti snap lock.
