A customer from Hedge End in Southampton recently called Lock It Security for assistance with various windows and doors on their property. She was experiencing some issues with windows that were stuck in the locked position and unable to open, while others couldn’t lock properly. Several other windows and doors were in need of some attention to restore full functionality, and Lock It Security were more than happy to help.
During the inspection, it became apparent that 6 out of the 12 uPVC windows required new mechanisms to resolve their locking issues. 2 others were in need of replacement handles to help them function properly. These repairs were necessary to restore the windows to proper working order, improving both their ease of use and security.
I also discovered a uPVC door that required realignment, as well as a full service to address its operational issues. The door handles were replaced and a British Standard upgraded lock was installed to improve the door’s security. This was an essential measure to ensure the property was secure and that all entry points were protected.
