Lock It Security recently received a call from a customer in Netley Abbey who was unable to leave his house due to a malfunctioning uPVC patio door lock. I responded swiftly, arriving at the customer’s location within an hour to assess the situation.
Upon close inspection, it became apparent that the repeated forced lifting of the handles had caused misalignment issues with both doors. Consequently, the gearbox on the multi-point lock had suffered damage. Fortunately, I carry a wide range of gearboxes in my van, allowing me to replace the damaged one immediately.
In addition to installing the new gearbox, I diligently realigned and serviced the patio doors, ensuring their smooth operation and returning them to optimal functionality. Lock It Security takes great pride in our ability to deliver effective repairs that stand the test of time.
